Project Description

Campbelltown Arts Centre hosted Australian drummer, composer, sound and instrument designer Alon Ilsar in a two week residency developing a new interactive audio visual work, The Hour.

The Hour was an audio-visual live performance by Alon Ilsar, with Andrew Bluff, Daniel Krass and Matthew Hughes. It explored our relationship with maths, religion, nature and technology through music, movement, sound design and interactive animation.
Alon Ilsar is current PhD candidate at UTS and artist in residence at Brooklyn College’s PIMA in New York.

His practice interweaves drumming, film, theatre, composition, sound design and instrument designer.
